What will we do during the 6 weeks?

We will be learning to do these things and then doing them in the same week

Week 1: Resumes (Part 1) - It’s time to build yourself a 10/10 resume! Learn to brand yourself perfectly, beat the ATS scanners, and impress the heck out of hiring managers!

Week 2: Resumes (Part 2) & Cover Letters - You’ll finish creating your 10/10 resume by writing amazing bullet points that show your value and we’ll also learn to create customized cover letters in just a few minutes.

Week 3: LinkedIn - We’ll make your profile sparkle, start building valuable connections, and keyword optimize your profile so you will start showing up in recruiter searches!

Week 4: Applying to Jobs - Yes! We’re already applying to jobs! We’ll talk through best practices in applying to jobs, networking, and getting your foot in the door! Then… YOU’LL ACTUALLY START APPLYING!

Week 5: Interviews - Now that we have our amazing resume out in the world, the interviews will be rolling in so we’re going to cover everything you need to nail every job interview!

Week 6: Staying Strong & Thriving: We’ll share tactics for maintaining your momentum during the job search and also advice for killing it during your first 90 days at the new job!

Team “Get Hired” - FAQs

1. What do the weekly webinars look like? Greg will be live on camera talking through the curriculum, reviewing resumes/LinkedIn profiles, and answering your questions. You will not be on camera but can ask questions using the chat feature.
   
   
2. What if I can’t attend the webinars live? No problem! The webinars will be recorded and you’ll have access to watch the replays at your leisure. And you can submit questions in advance too!
   
   
3. Will I get my resume reviewed? We will be doing weekly resume review hot seat sessions where you can submit your resume to be reviewed if you’d like. We may not review every single resume, but we’ll get to as many as possible.
   
   
4. What is the time commitment required? You’ll get out of this what you put into it… that’s for sure! In terms of concrete commitments, there will be a 1-hour webinar each week as well about 30-60 minutes of pre-recorded video content to watch. You’ll also have homework items (writing your resume, upgrading your LinkedIn profile, etc.) that could take a couple hours each week too… but you’ll always have the option to go at your own pace.
   
   
5. Will I be able to ask you questions about my job search? Yes! We will have a form to submit questions and I’ll make sure to address them during a weekly Q&A session (either during the webinar or afterward).
   
   
6. Will I have to interact with others in the program? Only as much as you would like to. Sharing will always be optional so if you want to chat, that’s allowed, but if you want to silently observe, that’s fine too!
   
   
7. Will you/someone be writing my resume/cover letter for me? No. We’ll help you along the way, but in this program, we’re giving you the tools, tips, and tricks to do all that you’ll need to write every resume you’ll need for the rest of your life! 8. Do I have to follow along exactly on schedule? No! You can absolutely go at your own pace. You can watch the pre-recorded videos and do the homework whenever you’d like as many times as you’d like. And the webinars will all be recorded so you can watch them later too! Once you 6-weeks are over, you can still access all the content.
   
   
9. Can you guarantee I’ll get a job out of this? I wish we could, but we have no control around how hiring managers will react to individual resumes or job seekers during interviews so we can’t make any guarantees. We are very hopeful and confident in all the tactics and steps included though, so we expect to see a lot of success!
